a nightmare world condensed in soft cover that either weighs you down always close on crushing you flat or absorbs you deeper into dreamy, false sense of comfort, the pastel-themed colorful world made the creepy grisly sights and detailed deaths (i think there were three in total?) all the more sweetly sick like perfect catered to my taste! looking forward to more, plus the Fairy Godmoth’s design is gorgeous, loved Starry’s too with her fluffy cotton candy hair. just one thing that troubled me few times was that the chase scene i guess, can be abrupt what with the monster’s speed too fast/very close distance and gap to Starry. the deaths and some things might be in need of content warnings too, though.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D
Yeah I need to add a notification for the chase scene that you can dash. I setup the chase to where you need to dash. I could adjust when of the monster approaches so there's room for more reaction time. Not sure when I'll get to that but I'll keep that in my notes for when I work on it more.
This was so cute and beautiful. I love the art, I love the colors. The set up here for puzzles and dream shenanigans is really really cool. I hope you keep going with this and we can see more!!
Thanks so much for trying it out! I went back to look in my map file and I saw that I didn't paste the transfer player events like I thought I did. I'm going to fix it and update. I experimented with making bigger sprites. I see that I need find a fix for player touch with the bigger sprites. I do have more planned for the game with it having more as a castle map with rooms and more silly disturbing ncps. I decided to concluded it with a chase for the jam since it was too much to cram in. I'll see about updating the description of it being incomplete.
Anyway I'm really glad you enjoyed it! :D
